Farmers Bank employees came out to our construction sites on August 30, 2023 – working with
Habitat for Humanity of Mahoning Valley AND Habitat for Humanity East Central in Canton, Ohio. More than
70 members of the Farmers Team spent the day volunteering to help build homes across our entire
region.
“Farmers is all about giving back to our community,” Chief Retail & Marketing Officer Amber Wallace said.
“We’re not just building houses – we’re helping build a better community.”
The Farmers team in Mahoning Valley assisted with the Habitat house at 1527 Lansdowne Boulevard
in Youngstown. The rehab project is nearly done, and the volunteers sanding floors, painted, hung
drywall, and more!
“It’s been wonderful to work with the team at Farmers National Bank,” said Habitat for Humanity of
Mahoning Valley Executive Director, David Redig. “We are overjoyed about the number of volunteers who
will be helping us push our Habitat mission forward.”
The rehab on Lansdowne Boulevard is one of several projects that Habitat for Humanity of Mahoning Valley
is working on throughout Columbiana, Mahoning and Trumbull counties.
