Elaina attended Youngstown State University and graduated with a degree in anthropology and geology. She brings invaluable retail and visual merchandising experience to HFHMV. She currently lives in Columbiana and loves a good joke, spending time outdoors and traveling. You can find her most likely running around the Salem ReStore.

Meg lives in Poland (Ohio) and is currently studying Public Relations at Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU). Her favorite thing in the world is going home to her three dogs. You can find her antiquing on the weekends, hanging out with friends, or restoring her historical home. Joining the Habitat team was the best opportunity she’s ever been given!

Scott Taylor

Scott who has a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership and Development has worked with the YMCA for 24 years in a variety of capacities with the Tiffin YMCA, YMCA of Greater Toledo, Butler County YMCA, the Akron Area YMCA, the GLOW YMCA and the Lake County YMCA. Also he spent six years with Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Recently, he was the Chief Advancement Officer of the Lake County YMCA responsible for $1 million in fundraising as well as implementing an $8 million capital campaign to build a new YMCA in Willoughby Ohio to replace its existing facility.

Prior to Lake County, he served as the CEO of the GLOW YMCA in Western New York. There he was responsible for a $3.2 million association consisting of three branches and a camp facility. Before leaving for New York, he worked for the Akron Area YMCA for 8 ½ years and was responsible for building the University Park YMCA on the campus of Summa Hospital.

Scott is excited about serving the mission of the Habitat for Humanity organization: seeking to put God’s love into action by bringing people together to build homes, communities and hope.

Jack Sebest

Jacob, also known as Jack, is from the Youngstown area and graduated from YSU in the Spring of 2020 where he studied Communications and Nonprofit Leadership. He is involved with many clubs as he was President of the Campus Chapter of Habitat for Humanity at YSU, Board Member of the YSU Newman Center, Grand Knight for the Campbell Council of the Knights of Columbus, active in the Catholic Student Association, and involved in the Students of Nonprofit Leadership Organization. He has a passion for community revitalization and uses his enthusiasm for collaborative and impactful nonprofit work as the Outreach Coordinator. When not working or at school, he enjoys cooking, music, cycling, and fishing.

Alyssa Bancroft

Alyssa is really excited to be managing the volunteer and family experience at Habitat Mahoning Valley! She graduated from Cleveland State University with a degree in Nonprofit Administration and Urban Studies. During her time at Cleveland State, she got the opportunity to go on service trips with different organizations like Habitat for Humanity, American Hiking Society and Break a Difference. She has been with HFHMV since May 2019 and lives in Hubbard with her husband, Daniel. When she isn't working, she really enjoys hiking, camping, going to concerts and boxing.

Heather is the Finance Manager. She brings more than 15 years of volunteer and work experience with non-profits and organizations. She grew up in Columbiana County and now resides in Damascus. Heather loves being involved in her community and is excited to be working with Habitat to help improve lives in the Mahoning Valley.
